2nd birthday and 2nd silver for me

Well another birthday in the family and another silver trophy for me.

Happy Birthday to my wonderful sister Penny.Some of you may know her as novssis at carbon poker. Well she turned the big 40 today and is so happy to have reached this milestone in her life. So Big hugs to you sis and love you loads.

The $2PL 7 card stud was played by yours truly again today and I managed 2nd place after a lot 1 sided HU and the eventual winner just hitting everything.

Greatest Final Of All Time

Greatest Final Of All Time Jan 1st 2007. Two giants in the world of darts are battling it out for the world championship titlePhil "The Power" Taylor V Raymond Van BarneveldPhil is the most successful player of all time with 13 titles to his nameBarney has won it 4 times up til now.It was a nail biting, heart stopping, edge of ya seat final. Phil went 3 sets to nil up and was hitting everything. Barney was struggling to hit doubles and it was showing. It was looking pretty much like a whitewash was on the cards. Barney suddenly finds his form and starts to poduce the darts of his life. He started to make a comeback. 3-0 to 3-2 then Taylor made it 4-2. It was then all square again at 4-4 and the circus tavern was the place to be if you wanted excitement and the best darts final ever. Its now all square again at 5-5. Sid Waddell makes it all the more exciting to watch. His commentry is legendry and he comes out with the funniest lines ever. He is so passionate about the game and he doesnt care who knows it. Ok its now at 6 sets all and 5 legs apiece. Its now sudden death and i have a sore throat from screaming at the TV. My nerves are shot and my son is screaming for the other player. Yes I know im English but I was screaming for Barney. Well Taylor has won it enough. Its now down to this last leg and Barney hits 100 with his 1st 3 darts. Taylor follows it with 180 and Baney goes right back at him with 180. Can't remember what Taylor then throws but it came down to Barney needing tops for the title. He misses and Taylor is gven a reprieve. He leaves himself a finish but he is still behind and Barney now has 3 more dart for tops and the title. He hits single 20. He has 2 darts and his double 10 with the 1st. WTG Barne well deserved and what a great come back.
